Helen Wood

Helen Wood is the Founder and CEO of TMS Consulting. With a passion for human dynamics in the workplace, Helen established TMS in 2006 after 20 years in the public sector. Helen is passionate about helping organisations realise their true potential through strong leadership, creating psychological safety in the workplace and ensuring organisations create positive and engaged cultures.

A skilled executive consultant, coach and facilitator, Helen has guided many organisations through periods of major change in both public and private sectors. Her ability to quickly understand a client’s needs and devise timely, effective solutions has made her a highly sought-after strategic advisor and mentor.

Helen was recently appointed to the Victorian Leadership Academy coaching panel for executive coaching and is regularly called upon to facilitate complex public and cross jurisdictional engagement activities for government.  Helen has provided executive oversight on major projects across a wide range of sectors including Health, Transport, Government and Disability.

Outside of TMS Helen has a passion for helping the more vulnerable in the community and is involved in supporting several charities. Helen is the Board Chair for YAVA, the local art gallery where she lives in the Yarra Valley. She was previously Company Secretary of Community Bank Healesville. Helen is a graduate of AICD and a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
