TMS Consulting has recently assisted the Australian Government, Queensland Government and the Cape York Institute to rollout the Cape York Welfare Reform trial in the Indigenous communities of Aurukun, Coen, Hope Vale and Mossman Gorge.  Helen Wood, Managing Director, worked with the Welfare Reform Program Office to negotiate the Project Board Agreement between the three partners which provided the overarching framework for the trial and included key areas such as governance and reporting. This trial is a significant undertaking and has involved many ‘new’ ways of thinking particularly about partnerships, government and non-government cooperation and program management.  Consultants from TMS have also assisted in scoping and project planning, SharePoint implementation along with communication and engagement activities.  TMS was responsible for delivering information and engagement sessions in Coen and Mossman Gorge to service providers and community representatives.
