Mark Kane – Principal Consultant
Mark is a leadership coach and facilitator with more than 16 years of experience helping leaders strengthen their effectiveness, self-awareness and impact. His coaching approach is deep, thought-provoking and solution-focused, supporting leaders to reflect on their values, behaviours, communication style and leadership impact, challenge assumptions and identify practical actions for growth.
Informed by Cognitive Psychology, Social Neuroscience and Philosophy, Mark believes leadership is an ‘inside-out job’. Effective leadership starts with understanding the whole self – not just the professional self – and recognising how values, beliefs, behaviours and experiences shape the way we lead. Mark creates a psychologically safe yet appropriately challenging coaching environment, balancing support with constructive enquiry, reflection and accountability.
As an accredited DiSC practitioner, Mark also draws on a range of diagnostic and reflective tools to deepen self-awareness, uncover strengths and blind spots, and support meaningful behavioural change.
Mark has worked with leaders across a diverse range of sectors, including government, local government, professional services, health, education, utilities, infrastructure and not-for-profit organisations. This breadth of experience enables him to adapt his coaching approach to different organisational environments, leadership challenges and levels of seniority.
