The Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) has invited TMS Consulting’s Managing Director, Helen Wood, to present the Masterclass Machinery of Government: Challenges, Opportunities and Benefits on 25 July 2012 in Brisbane. The class follows on from the recently published paper A New Government Means Change by TMS Consulting, which documents lessons learned for optimising changes such as those currently being experienced by the Queensland Public Sector.
Focusing on the current changes within Queensland Government, the Masterclass will introduce participants to the challenges, complexities, idiosyncrasies and the often one-off opportunities presented by this period of change.
Participants will discuss lessons learnt from previous MoG changes in Queensland and understand the impact of leadership decisions, activities undertaken, and also areas for improvement.
