TMS Consulting wishes to congratulate Principal Consultant, Trish Cloete on her endorsement of registration by the Psychology Board of Australia as a specialist Organisational Psychologist.
Having originally trained in South Africa, Trish specialised as an Organisational Psychologist during her Master’s Degree and practised as a specialist in the field for ten years before moving to Australia. Under Australian regulations, psychologists train and register as generalist practitioners, and are ethically and legally required to operate within the parameters of this designation, unless they obtain a specialist endorsement on their registration.
After many years of hard work, Trish has successfully attained endorsement as an Organisational Psychologist, and is now recognised by the regulatory body, AHPRA, as having advanced training in this field, over and above the minimum level of tertiary academic and practical psychological training required for general registration. To achieve endorsement as an Organisational Psychologist, Trish completed a Registrar program in Organisational Psychology. The program encompassed 3000 hours of supervised specialist practice over a period of 2 and a half years.
Reflecting on her achievement, Trish commented: “It was an intensive process, but very rewarding. The reflective practice and professional scrutiny involved really challenged my thinking and I found myself inspired to keep growing, learning, and giving more of myself to a profession I already love”.
As a Principal Consultant for TMS Consulting, Trish has become a trusted advisor for clients across a range of industries, and provides quality solutions that meet their unique needs. She has extensive experience in the design and implementation of bespoke client solutions, including leadership and team development, transformational change management and organisational dynamics.
Congratulations on this wonderful achievement, Trish!
