The Health and HIV schedule under the Papua New Guinea-Australia Partnership for Development aims to support the Government of Papua New Guinea in achieving an efficient health system which can deliver an internationally acceptable standard of health service; and a healthy population free of sexually transmitted infections and HIV. TMS has been engaged to work with AusAID PNG to facilitate and assist in the merger of two major but separate programs into an Integrated Health and HIV Program to deliver on the above objectives. Anup Takle (Executive Director, TMS) is in PNG working as the Integration Consultant to assist with the change and transition management. TMS’ work will support and enable a successful integration of all elements of the Program. The work involves significant cultural change and stakeholder management. Anup and other TMS staff will also work on change management plans and improving the team dynamics. These initiatives will ensure quick wins and a speedy transition towards the new program objectives by all staff. In August Anup will be joined by Helen Wood, Managing Director to run a residential program for the team to further assist business and team related objectives.
