TMS recently sponsored the Australian Gliding Team for the 32nd FAI World Gliding Championships in Argentina. The team has now arrived back in Australia after an outstanding showing and impressive results.
Tobias Geiger (Club Class), Allan Barnes (World Class) and Craig Collins (Club Class) competing against the World’s finest came home in 2nd, 6th and 9th respectively.
“What a fantastic performance from the team. Flying half-way across the world, competing against a high-quality field – they really have done Australia proud,” TMS Managing Director Helen Wood said.
“After providing sports psychology and team development services to the team over the last three years, we were delighted to continue our support of the team at this year’s World Championships.”
The Championships took place at the Otto Ballod Gliding Club located in Adolfo Gonzalez Chavez in Argentina.
TMS joins the team’s other sponsors Wine Pourings, Go Soaring and JSR Soaring in commending them on a fine team performance.
