TMS announces free Melbourne Workplace Bullying Seminar

In support of the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence, TMS Consulting is excited to bring to you a free breakfast seminar on “Preventing and Managing Workplace Bullying”, taking place in Melbourne on Friday, 20 March.

This informative seminar aims to help the audience understand what actions organisations need to take to adequately manage the risks associated with bullying in the workplace and implement a best practice program. Our presenters will provide attendees with the following information:

  • A broad overview of the definitions and drivers of bullying in the workplace
  • A review of what is and is not currently working well in addressing workplace bullying
  • An understanding of how workplace bullying sits within WHS frameworks and the components of a system to prevent and manage workplace bullying
  • Practical suggestions about what organisations should do to successfully educate workers and managers, and implement an effective program to reduce risks and prevent bullying from occurring

 Heather_Ikin_TMS_Consulting Heather Ikin, Consultant Psychologist at TMS Consulting, is a Registered Organisational Psychologist specialising in health, safety and wellbeing. Her key areas of interest include safety culture, psychosocial safety and workplace bullying. Heather is passionate about working with organisations to break down barriers to successfully preventing and managing workplace bullying. She achieves this through creating awareness and understanding of behaviour at work, and empowering leaders to confront rather than avoid sensitive challenges in the workplace.
 Helen_Wood_TMS_Consulting Helen Wood, Chief Executive Officer of TMS Consulting, has extensive expertise in human and organisational dynamics, enhanced through a 25-year career in both the Public and Private sectors. Helen has worked with Federal and State Governments in delivering complex and sensitive programs in a variety of challenging sectors. She has also consulted for many private sector businesses helping them to improve bottom-line results through improved organisational dynamics.
