TMS Consulting’s Amy Prior, Senior Consultant Psychologist and Ben Hutchinson, Safety Consultant have been chosen to speak at the Australian Water Association’s North Queensland Regional Conference in Townsville from 29 to 30 August.
The conference will look at the impact of recent State and Local Government changes and focus on efforts at maintaining services and water businesses in North Queensland under the impact of constrained budgets, revised legislation and stakeholder pressures.
Ben Hutchinson will address how to identify and effectively manage fatigue and human error in the water industry with the use of a Fatigue Risk Management System, while Amy Prior will provide practical tips on how safety can be improved within the industry through a proactive safety culture.
The Australian Water Association’s North Queensland’s Regional Conference is a must attend for water professionals in the region. This conference has enjoyed strong growth over the years, with 150 people attending in 2012.
