TMS Consulting’s Helen Wood and Heather Ikin to present at the APIA Convention 2013

APIA_LogoTMS Consulting’s Chief Executive Officer, Helen Wood and Consultant Psychologist, Heather Ikin have been chosen to present papers at the Australian Pipeline Industry Association Convention and Exhibition to be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 12 to 15 October.

With the theme of ‘The Pipeline Industry – Critical Infrastructure for the National Economy’, the convention will bring together participants from all sectors of the pipeline industry as well as other industries that are associated with natural gas and the transportation of energy, slurry and water.

The APIA Convention and Exhibition is a major event for those in the industry and provides valuable learning opportunities via a highly experienced and respected speaker line-up. This will be Helen’s third time presenting at the Conference on issues associated with fatigue management.

This year Helen will present the final findings from a recently completed fatigue management study conducted by TMS Consulting on behalf of APIA in the pipeline industry and discuss the implications for an at risk workforce.  Heather will present the paper ‘Identifying the Levers to Embed Safety Culture within the Pipeline Industry’ and provide strategies for hardwiring a safety culture in organisations.
