TMS Consulting Director of Governance and Strategy Brodie Woodland has been invited to present at the Better Boards Conference taking place July 29-31 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Known as the premier governance and leadership conference for leaders in the Not-for-Profit sector, this year’s conference will focus on the theme: ‘Game Changing Moves…Governing for Maximum Impact’.
Brodie will present on ‘Cultural Due Diligence: Assessing ‘fit’ as part of strategic choices’ which explores the idea that assessing the cultural alignment of two organisations can be just as important as legal or financial due diligence to the success of any strategic partnership or alliance.
After being inspired by the presenters and impressed with the quality of the talks at last year’s conference in Brisbane, Brodie said she was both excited and honoured to be accepted on to this year’s program.
“It was such a fantastic event last year with the focus of the theme and with the contributions from the speakers addressing the needs and providing important guidance for those in the Not-for-Profit sector.”
“It is a privilege to be invited on to the program and I’m very much looking forward to being on the other side of the lectern at this year’s conference.”
As one of the largest gatherings of its kind in Australasia, the Better Boards Conference it is a valuable opportunity for those responsible for the governance of their organisation to make connections, share ideas and gather information with other board members, chief executive officers and senior managers from non-profit organisations.
