We are excited to announce the appointment of TMS Managing Director, Helen Wood to the Brisbane Youth Service Board.
After working with Brisbane Youth Service (BYS) over the twelve months, Helen was delighted to be invited to join the board and further her involvement with this outstanding organisation.
BYS is a community-based organisation that works with homeless or at-risk young people, providing long-term assistance to help them make more positive choices. Their comprehensive services range across several levels of immediacy and intensity from basic needs such as food and showers through to intensive personal support.
Bringing expertise in performance frameworks, business optimisation and broad experience in the government and not-for-profit sectors, Helen hopes to contribute to the outstanding work that BYS has already done for the Brisbane community. She hopes to assist the organisation increase its footprint as a prominent service provider through improved corporate investment, allowing it to support more young people and ultimately become less reliant on government funding.
