TMS was delighted to again this year participate in Brisbane Youth Service’s Raise Your Roof for Homeless Youth fundraising appeal.
The appeal invites people from all over Brisbane to host a ‘party with a purpose’ on Ekka Eve to raise funds to meet the increasing demand for BYS services and to help Brisbane’s homeless children and young adults get off the streets.
It was TMS’s second year being involved and we were thrilled to raise $2100 for this very important organisation and a cause that is very close to our hearts.
BYS have been helping disadvantaged and homeless young people (aged 12-25) from their service hub and head office in Fortitude Valley for over 35 years. They work with at-risk young people to create positive change and pathways in their lives, providing services ranging from basic amenities to education, health and housing.
We would like to express our gratitude to those who attended our event and donated generously. It was a fantastic night and we look forward to seeing you again as we raise our roof next year.
