One of the most rewarding aspects of working with organisations is seeing the difference team development can make to organisational effectiveness and employee satisfaction. TMS recently took time out to practice what we preach – we spent time reflecting on the previous year, turning our attention to 2017 and building team relationships.
In particular, we refreshed our understanding of team working styles using a behavioural preferences tool. Exploring the differences in team members’ preferred ways of working and communicating can increase team efficiencies and in essence put ‘oil on the wheels’.
The transition into the New Year can be an opportunity to set time aside and reconnect as a team. If you don’t have the luxury of time out from the office, take a look at this blog with tips on incorporating team development into your business as usual.
